There are many legal and illegal drugs available in Northern Ireland that can affect your physical, emotional and mental state. Any substance that you put into your body that is not recommended by your doctor can be harmful, and potentially lethal. This is especially the case when it comes to illegal drugs. All illegal drugs carry health risks to those who use them and legal risk if you are caught possessing or dealing the drug.
If you feel under pressure by your peers to start taking illegal drugs, you can talk to a parent or teacher. Check out the ‘Get help’ section for more info and advice on where to look for help.
Talk to Frank helps you find out everything you might want to know about drugs (and some stuff you don’t!) – they have a useful a-z of drugs found here: www.talktofrank.com
